By registering an account and using Aistamine, you fully accept these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part, do not use the Service.

3. Service Description

Aistamine is a web application for personal monitoring of diet and symptoms related to histamine intolerance and biogenic amines. The Service includes:

• A food diary with symptom tracking
• A food database with histamine classification based on institutional sources (EFSA, ISS, NHS, USDA FoodData Central, INRAN)
• Artificial intelligence (AI) analysis of correlations between food and symptoms
• AI-generated recipe suggestions based on tolerance levels
• Biometric data monitoring and statistical reports
• Barcode scanning for packaged food analysis

4. Medical Disclaimer

Aistamine is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnoses, therapeutic advice, or treatment plans. All information provided by the Service — including AI-generated analyses, food classifications, and statistical correlations — is for informational and personal monitoring purposes only. It must never be considered a substitute for professional medical advice. Any dietary or health-related decision must be made with the support of a qualified physician, allergist, or nutritionist.

5. Use of Artificial Intelligence

By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge and agree that:

• The Service uses third-party AI providers (OpenAI and/or Anthropic) to analyze your food diary, symptoms, and biometric data
• Your personal data (food entries, symptoms, biometric profile) is transmitted to these AI providers for processing, in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• AI analyses are statistical estimates and may contain inaccuracies — they are not medical advice
• AI-generated content (analyses, recipes, chat responses) is provided "as is" without guarantee of accuracy or completeness

6. Account and Registration

Each account is personal, non-transferable, and protected by a password chosen by the user. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration. VisualSense reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Free Trial and Subscription

The Service offers a free trial period as indicated during registration. After the trial, continued access requires a paid monthly subscription managed via PayPal. The subscription renews automatically each month. You may cancel at any time from your account settings or through PayPal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

8. User Obligations

The user agrees to:

• Use the Service exclusively for personal, non-commercial purposes
• Not attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the Service's operation
• Not reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the software
• Provide accurate health and dietary information for reliable analysis

9. Limitation of Liability

VisualSense shall not be held liable for:

• Any damage — direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental — arising from the use or inability to use the Service
• Adverse food reactions, allergic episodes, or health consequences resulting from dietary decisions based on information provided by the Service
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated analyses or food database information
• Service interruptions, data loss, or technical malfunctions
• Actions or omissions of third-party services (PayPal, AI providers, hosting)

10. Intellectual Property

All software, source code, design, graphics, texts, and databases of Aistamine are the exclusive property of VisualSense or are used under license. The food database is based on publicly available institutional sources and internally processed. No part of the Service may be reproduced, modified, or redistributed without prior written consent.

11. Modifications

VisualSense reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Italian Republic. For any dispute, the Court of Cassino (FR) shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
